    Himatnagar city is named after Maharaja Himatsingh. It is situated on the bank of river Hathmati. There are some historical places and also ancient temples are located here. It is well known in the world because of its ceramic industries and now it is one of the fastly developing city of Gujarat. The high way number 8 is passing through the city.

    I BORN IN THIS TOWN.TODAY IT'S A MOST LIKELY PLACE FOR EVERYONE LIVES IN SABARKANTHA DISTICT AS WELL AS NEAREST DISTICT PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS.THE CHEAPEST THING IN THIS TOWN IS PANIPURI AND COSTLIEST THING IS LAND AND OTHER RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES.DAY BY DAY THE VALUE OF LAND IS INCREASING HERE. IF YOU WANT GOOD VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY THEN THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE TO INVEST YOUR MONEY.

    I think Himmatnagar is a very peaceful place to live in.The people are very co-operative and concerned about their neighbours.You will find people of various religions living here, though not in harmony as it used to be prior to the riots of 2002. If you are fond of eatables and clothes, then Himmatnagar is the place to be. Hmt. is well known for the ceramic industries.and it also has a multiplex. If you want to learn good english then Mrs Maureen Madam and Richard Bahulayan are the best teachers to help you get a grip and good command on the English language.In fact Mrs. Maureen Madam was also honoured by the Governor of Gujarat for her contribution to education in S.K. District.

    I like in a himmatanagar river of hathmati, my own high schools Basketball ground and all Basketball player's,Jarneshwer temple. I belong to a LIMBDI (saurashtra) and live in Pologround area, I like very much this area & people.

    I love this my KARMBHUMI.

    Love this Town. I grew up in Himmatnagar and has lot of beautiful memories connected with this town. Studied in Societynagar School and later in Himmat High School, also finished my B.Com here. My parents and other family still lives there and also bunch of friends so I try to visit every other year. I wish that I could come every year but it's difficult since I currently live in US. I still miss those streets where I played cricket with bunch of friends and broke the glass windows. There are lot of other things that I miss and lot of other things I would like to write about but I guess this is enough for now. See you guys there in my next trip, that will be sometime in 2009.

    Mehtapura houses the official reidences of the Collector/DM, District Development officer, Superintendent of Police and District Forest officers. Has a nice officer's club by the side of Hathmati river.
