my father Jivanlal Mulji Thanki(Dave)originated from this village before emigrating to Nairobi,Kenya,East Africa,in the year 1910.My grandfather Muljibhai Gordhan Thanki was a native of this village which a has prehitorical temple of Lord Shiva known as Khimeshwar Mahadev near the sea.It is belived that during the hiding period(agyatvas)Pandavas gained a temporary shelter at the site of this old Shiva's Mandir(temple).There believed to be some ancient reminiscences to support this tale.
