Akola is well known for the good and talented people. The city is now improving. The roads in Akola are now no more like they were used be (I mean they are getting better and better now).. Another thing I noticed is the good city bus service. Based on the Akola project only Aurangabad also started the same kind of city bus service with small buses......
A must visit place in Akola is "Sagar panipuri" opposite to Utsav Mangal Karyalaya... I never miss it whenever I go to Akola...

My city is very rich in natural resourses but neglected by the government.
Akola Is very buisy cty for business,cultural and political activity. Famous Places are :- Rajeshwar Temple,Shivaji fort,Rudrayani temple and bagetali devi.
Special Deshesh :- Paipuri,Nukkad Kachori and chat.
Please visit at least one time
can anyone find a detail map of akola to mumbai stations of railways....Its extremely difficult to get the reservations of trains at any time of the season....so i usually advise you to look for some remote stations and check th eavailability from there....usually bhusaval and before ones are a good options before 7-8 days but after that its really a hetic job.....the coolie matter comes then.......

City of farming community, city of dal mill, city of oil mill, city of cotton, and the city of KRISHI VIDYAPEETH are the modern nick names of the Akola.
But in now the farmers of the Akola city less incomes and they tried and trying for the suisides, their by the city comes under the zones of SUSIDES AREAS
