Amravati (also known as Amrawati or Amraoti) is a city in the state of Maharashtra.
This city is also the headquarter of "Amravati Division" which is one of the six divisions of the state of Maharashtra. ( Vidharbha region). Following four districts come under Amravati Division Akola, Yeotmal,Buldhana, Washim.

Though I live in Mozambique now I cannot forget this city as this is the place where I was born n brought up.I love this city n the people . U can never feel homesick here.I would like to see my Alma mater Holy Cross Convent n Apratim Colony near the central jail.
