Shivsagar Lake -- backwaters of Koyna dam

i was here in my teens.what a childhood!missing all good friends since earthquake of 1967.

everyone should visit this place in life min once...good place especially 4 nature lovers. enjoy..........dilip, ....sinhgad college of enginring ,pune 41.

But this dam is wating the precius water by way of electricity, after generating the power it discharging the water into Arabia Sea and that much water is wated. Had this water is not discharged into Arabia Sea it would have travelled in the Krishna River and would have gone towards Bay of Bengal and taht water would have been utilised to produce the power at least in 5 different places and also would have been used for irrigating around 2-3 lakh Acres of land. Just imagine how mush is wasted! Is it not a national wastage? Because of regional focus we are losing thousands of crores of rupees worth electricity and also the food! How baaaaaaaaad it is! Request all the good people to think on it.
