Tanjore is most populs city in India.Indian govt, took over one of the Agricultural city in Tamilnadu and activate the green reveloution forming in the 1966 to 1969.The city's famous is Pragadeeswarar Temple- it was bulit up by King Raja Raja Cholan in his period. The other turist part in the city near by Manora it is situated 45 Km away from Tanjavour.Most of the peoples are invloved in and thier prior occupation is Agricultural and allied production activities only. Now days the Cocunut cultivation and production slightly increased, and also competid other cities. I Like more Rajaj Serfoji College- Tanjore, Khadeer Mohaideen College - Adirampattinam,Scholls, play grounds and the people.

30 KM away from Tanjore East side the temple city is situated - Kumbakonam in and around Kumbakonam lot of Famous temples are situated.

The City Familier by A.b.J Abdulkalam,Venkataraman and Kavingar Kalyanasundram and some doctors,Scienties, and lot of tutors are became in Tanjavaour city.

Here in this town, I have finished my under graduation at Ponnaiyah Ramajayam College (PRC). This town held on comprehensive chronicles over the millenium.
